About This Scholarship
The Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan Scholarship Project (AHBP) is a pivotal federal initiative dedicated to reversing the educational marginalization of Balochistan. Executed via HEC, this fully funded scholarship allows students holding a Balochistan domicile to pursue postgraduate studies (Master's and PhD) at any recognized public sector university across Pakistan. It covers full tuition fees, provides a substantial living stipend, and includes a book allowance, explicitly aiming to integrate Balochistan's youth into the national professional mainstream.
Scholarship Benefits & Coverage

- Monthly living stipend of $1,200 to $1,500 for overseas scholars and PKR 18,000 to PKR 25,000 for indigenous scholars

Eligibility Criteria
- 1Domicile: MUST be a domicile holder of **Balochistan** province.
- 2Academic Merit (PhD): Minimum 3.0/4.0 CGPA in MS/MPhil (First Division).
- 3Academic Merit (MS): Minimum 16 Years of education (Bachelor's) with 3.0 CGPA or First Division.
- 4Age Limit: Up to 35 years (for PhD) and 30 years (for MS). Relaxed to 40 years for regular Faculty Members.
- 5Test Score: Must secure at least 50% marks in the HEC Aptitude Test (HAT).
- 6Bond: Awardees must sign a bond to serve in Balochistan for 5 years after completion of studies.
