The Benazir Undergraduate Scholarship Project (formerly known as Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship) is the largest and most comprehensive need-based higher education initiative in Pakistan's history. Aimed at students from families earning less than PKR 45,000 per month, it covers 100% of the tuition fee and provides a PKR 4,000 monthly living stipend (PKR 48,000 annually). This colossal project guarantees that tens of thousands of deserving students studying in 135+ public sector universities can complete 4-to-5 year degree programs without financial dread.
Scholarship Benefits & Coverage

Eligibility Criteria
- 1Admission: Must be enrolled in a **Public Sector University** on **Merit** basis (Afternoon/Evening sessions are eligible only if fee structure is same as Morning; Self-Finance is ineligible).
- 2Income Limit: Total family income must be less than **PKR 45,000 per month**.
- 3Program: Only for 4-5 year Undergraduate degree programs (Not for 2-year Associate Degrees or MA/MSc).
- 4Quotas: 50% scholarships reserved for Female students. 2% for Students with Disabilities.
- 5Exclusion: Students availing any other scholarship (PEEF, HEC Need Based, etc.) are NOT eligible.
How to Apply – Step by Step
