The Chief Minister Educational Endowment Fund (CMEEF) Scholarship is the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's premier initiative to support highly talented but financially constrained students. Focusing on high-demand disciplines like Engineering, Medicine, and Emerging Technologies, it provides fully funded opportunities at top KP institutions. The scholarship completely covers university tuition fees and provides a reliable monthly stipend, ensuring that financial limitations do not deter the brightest minds of KP from acquiring top-tier education.

Scholarship Benefits & Coverage

• Annual higher education merit grant of up to PKR 80,000 (or 75% tuition coverage) for Category 'A' HEC universities
• Annual merit grant of PKR 40,000 per year for students enrolled in approved Category 'B' institutions
• Annual educational stipends ranging from PKR 11,000 to PKR 17,000 for school and intermediate (FA/FSc) students
• Interest-free Qarz-e-Hasna facility up to PKR 400,000 to assist with professional degree expenses
• Special welfare allocations and preferential consideration for children of Shuhada and disabled PAF personnel

Eligibility Criteria

  Domicile: Must be a permanent resident of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (including Merged Districts).

  Admission: Must have a valid admission offer on **Open Merit** in one of the 'Approved Partner Institutions' (e.g., NUST, GIKI, LUMS, IBA, UET Peshawar, KMU, etc.).

  Academic Merit (Undergraduate): Minimum 60% marks in Intermediate.

  Academic Merit (Graduate): Minimum 3.0/4.0 CGPA or First Division.

  Income Limit: Parental monthly income from all sources must be ≤ PKR 100,000.

  Exclusion: Students admitted on Self-Finance or already availing other scholarships (like Ehsaas/HEC) are ineligible.

How to Apply – Step by Step

   Step 1: Secure admission in a CMEEF Partner Institution (List available on HED website).

   Step 2: Visit the University's Financial Aid Office / Focal Person.

   Step 3: Ask for the 'CMEEF Scholarship Application Form'.

   Step 4: Submit the filled form with required documents (Income Cert, Domicile, Admission Letter) to the University.

   Step 5: The University sends the list of selected merit students to the Project Management Unit (PMU) of HED for final approval.
