The Fauji Foundation Educational Stipend (Group-I) is an exclusive welfare program dedicated to the children of ex-servicemen (retired personnel of the Pakistan Armed Forces). Group-I specifically targets students pursuing high-level professional undergraduate and postgraduate degrees (like MBBS, BDS, BSc Engineering, IT, and Master's programs). It provides a substantial annual stipend that eases the financial burden of expensive professional university education, honoring the service of retired military families.

Eligibility Criteria

  Beneficiary Status: Must be a child of a **Retired** (Released/Discharged) Army/Navy/Air Force personnel (Regular Force) who served for a minimum of **10 years**.

  Education: Must be enrolled in a recognized College or Polytechnic Institute (Govt or Private).

  Academic Merit (Group-I): Minimum **80% Marks** in the last passed exam (Matric) for fresh applicants.

  Continuation: For 2nd Year, must maintain **65% Marks** (for JCOs/Soldiers' children).

  Exclusion: Children of Serving personnel are generally covered by Army Welfare Trust (AWT) or Unit funds, not Fauji Foundation. Shuhada children fall under 'Group-IV' (Special/Non-merit based).

How to Apply – Step by Step

   Step 1: Obtain the 'Stipend Application Form' from the nearest District Armed Services Board (DASB) office, Fauji Foundation Welfare Project (Hospital/Centre), or download from the website.

   Step 2: Fill the form in Capital Letters.

   Step 3: Attach attested copies of: Discharge Book (Pages 1-5), Matric Result Card, CNIC/B-Form, and Father’s CNIC.

   Step 4: Get the form attested by the Principal of your current College.

   Step 5: Submit the form to the nearest 'Fauji Foundation Welfare Office' or 'DASB' before May 31st.

   Step 6: Stipends are processed in June and disbursed by September.
