Eligibility Criteria

  Beneficiary Status: Must be a child of Serving, Retired, or Deceased PAF Personnel (Officers, Airmen, or Civilians paid out of Defence Estimates).

  Financial Need: Must demonstrate genuine financial constraints preventing payment of full fees.

  Admission: Must be enrolled in an HEC-recognized Public or Private University in Pakistan.

  Academic Merit: Must have secured admission on merit (Self-finance or low-merit seats are generally not supported).

  Guarantor: Requires a guarantee from a serving PAF Officer/JCO or the Pension Book of the retired parent.

How to Apply – Step by Step

   Step 1: Obtain the 'Qarz-e-Hasna Application Form' from your Unit Education Officer (Serving) or DASB (Retired).

   Step 2: Fill the form with details of family income, university fee structure, and requested loan amount.

   Step 3: Attach the 'Surety Bond' (Guarantor Form) signed on Stamp Paper.

   Step 4: Submit the form through the Unit/Base Commander to the Directorate of Education, AHQ Peshawar.

   Step 5: The AHQ Scholarship Committee reviews the financial status and sanctions the loan.
