The Advanced Skills Development Through International Scholarships (ASDIS) is aimed at accelerating Pakistan's technological and industrial growth. It provides fully funded overseas training and higher education opportunities in emerging fields like Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Data Science, and Nanotechnology. Designed for highly skilled professionals and students, ASDIS covers international tuition, living stipends, and travel costs, equipping scholars with world-class expertise to bring back to Pakistan's growing tech sector.

Scholarship Benefits & Coverage

• President’s International Scholarship of Excellence: $180,000 total ($45,000/year for 4 years) covering full tuition and living expenses
• Tentanda Via Award: $120,000 total ($30,000/year for 4 years) for students overcoming significant barriers
• Global Leader of Tomorrow Award: $80,000 total ($20,000/year for 4 years) recognized for international leadership
• Automatic renewable entrance scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $37,500 based on admission average
• Comprehensive 4-year renewable funding packages awarded across all direct-entry faculties

Eligibility Criteria

  Nationality: Pakistani / AJ&K National.

  Discipline: Must be in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or Computer/Electrical Engineering.

  Academic Criteria (MS): 16 years of education with min 60% marks or CGPA 2.50/4.0.

  Academic Criteria (PhD): 18 years of education with min 3.0/4.0 CGPA (Semester) or 1st Division (Annual).

  Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (MS) and 40 years (PhD) on the closing date.

  Test Score: Valid HEC Aptitude Test (HAT) score is mandatory.

How to Apply – Step by Step

   When active: Apply via HEC Open Testing Service (ETC) for HAT Test.

   Submit online application at asdis.hec.gov.pk.

   Select preferred country/university from the approved HEC list.
