About This Scholarship

The Law Graduates Scholarship Program for Balochistan is a targeted initiative to elevate the legal profession in the province. It provides fully funded opportunities for outstanding law graduates from Balochistan to pursue LLM or PhD degrees at top international law schools. Covering international tuition, travel, and a competitive living stipend, this program aims to build a cadre of highly qualified legal experts, judges, and academics who will strengthen the justice system and legal education within Balochistan.

Scholarship Benefits & Coverage

• PKR 2,000 to PKR 4,000 monthly stipend for Intermediate students to cover books and living costs
• PKR 4,000 to PKR 6,000 monthly living allowance for Graduation and 4-year BS degree students
• PKR 5,000 to PKR 8,000 monthly stipend for Master’s, MS, and MPhil scholars
• Full tuition fee coverage for selected Out of Province and Fully Funded scholarship schemes
• Continuous financial grant disbursed throughout the remaining regular duration of the degree

Eligibility Criteria

  Domicile: Must possess Domicile/Local Certificate of Balochistan Province.

  Age Limit (LLM): Maximum 30 years on closing date.

  Age Limit (PhD): Maximum 35 years on closing date.

  Academic Requirement: LLB/LLM degree from HEC recognized university with minimum 50% marks.

  Admission: Must secure admission in a top 500 QS-ranked university (Foreign).

  Test Score: Must secure min 50% marks in the HEC Aptitude Test.

  Special Quota: 15-20% scholarships reserved for children of martyrs/severely injured victims of the 8th Aug 2016 Quetta blast.

How to Apply – Step by Step

   Register on the HEC Scholarship Portal (scholarship.hec.gov.pk).

   Fill the online profile and generate the fee challan.

   Pay the test fee (PKR 1,000) via 1Link/1Bill Invoice.

   Submit the application online. (Hard copies not required initially).

   Prepare for the Test (Law Graduate Assessment Test) covering Law, English, and General Knowledge.
