About This Scholarship

The Educational Scholarship for Minorities, managed by the Human Rights and Minorities Affairs (HR & MA) Department Punjab, is a specialized affirmative action program. It financially empowers students belonging to minority communities (Christian, Hindu, Sikh, etc.) from Matriculation up to Postgraduate levels. By granting substantial financial aid, the Punjab Government aims to foster inclusive socio-economic growth and ensure that minority youth have equal access to professional and higher education.

Scholarship Benefits & Coverage

• Professional Degree (MBBS/Eng/PhD): PKR 50,000 per year.
• Postgraduate Level (MA/MSc/M.Com): PKR 35,000 per year.
• Graduation Level (BA/BSc/BBA): PKR 30,000 per year.
• Intermediate Level (F.A/F.Sc): PKR 20,000 per year.
• Matric Level: PKR 15,000 per year.

Eligibility Criteria

  Religion: Must belong to a Non-Muslim Minority community (Christian, Hindu, Sikh, Parsi, etc.).

  Domicile: Must hold a valid Punjab Domicile.

  Academic Requirement: Minimum 40% to 50% marks in the last passed annual examination.

  Income Limit: Family monthly income must not exceed PKR 60,000 (approx).

  Exclusion: Students of Open University / Distance Learning or those already receiving another scholarship are ineligible.

How to Apply – Step by Step

   Step 1: Download the Application Form from the HR&MA website (hrma.punjab.gov.pk).

   Step 2: Fill the form and attach attested copies of CNIC/B-Form, Domicile, Marksheets, and Parent's Income Certificate.

   Step 3: Get the form attested by the Head of your Educational Institution.

4. 4

   Step 4: Submit the form via post to the 'Section Officer (Admin), Human Rights & Minorities Affairs Department, Lahore'.

   Step 5: Successful candidates receive the stipend cheque via their institution.
