About This Scholarship

The LUMS National Outreach Program (NOP) is Pakistan's most prestigious equity initiative, designed to seek out exceptionally bright students from underprivileged backgrounds across the country. The journey starts with the NOP Summer Coaching Session, a fully funded boot camp that prepares students for the rigorous LUMS admission test. If the student successfully clears the test and secures admission, LUMS provides a 100% fully funded scholarship covering tuition, hostel, living allowance, and books for their entire Bachelor's degree.

Eligibility Criteria

  Academic Merit: At least **80% Marks** in Matric (SSC) or O-Levels.

  Financial Need: Must demonstrate genuine financial inability to afford LUMS tuition.

  Education Status: Must be currently enrolled in **1st Year** of Intermediate (FA/FSc/ICS) or A-Levels.

  Timing Rule: Students applying for SCS in 2026 will start their Undergraduate degree in **Fall 2027**.

  Exclusion: Students who have already completed Intermediate/A-Levels are generally NOT eligible for the NOP stream (they must apply for Regular Financial Aid).

How to Apply – Step by Step

   Step 1: Register on the NOP Online Application System (nopscs.lums.edu.pk) before March 10, 2026.

   Step 2: Fill the application with academic details (Matric 80%+) and financial information.

   Step 3: Upload required documents (Matric Result, Father's Income Proof/Salary Slip, Electricity Bill).

   Step 4: Shortlisted candidates are invited to the 'Summer Coaching Session' (SCS) in July 2026.

   Step 5: Attend SCS and qualify based on performance.

   Step 6: LUMS registers qualifying candidates for the SAT exam (paid by LUMS).

   Step 7: Fill the main LUMS Undergraduate Admission Form in Jan-Feb 2027.
