About This Scholarship

The PEEF Gilgit Baltistan Scholarship is a strategic initiative to support the exceptionally talented yet resource-deprived students of the GB region. Expanding its footprint beyond Punjab, PEEF provides fully funded opportunities to GB domicile holders to pursue Intermediate, BS, and Master’s degrees. The grant comprehensively handles tuition expenses and provides a monthly living stipend, allowing students from remote mountainous areas to access premium education in major cities across Pakistan.

Scholarship Benefits & Coverage

• PKR 1,500 monthly stipend for day scholars and PKR 3,000 monthly for boarders at the Intermediate level
• PKR 3,000 monthly stipend for day scholars and PKR 5,000 monthly for boarders at the Graduation/BS level
• Direct institutional tuition fee reimbursement across the approved degree cycle
• Comprehensive coverage valid for the full duration of 2-year Inter and 2 to 4-year degree programs

Eligibility Criteria

  Domicile: Must be a permanent resident of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).

  Education Board: Must have passed Matric or Intermediate from a Govt School/College in GB (or FBISE institutions located in GB).

  Passing Year: Must have passed the annual examination in 2025.
• 4
  Academic Merit: Minimum 60% marks in the last annual examination.

  Income Limit: Parental monthly income must be ≤ PKR 60,000.

  Enrollment: Must be enrolled in a registered public/private institution for the 2025-26 session.

  Exemptions: Income limit waived for Orphans, Grade 1-4 Employee Children, and Terrorist Victim Children.

How to Apply – Step by Step

   Step 1: Download the 'PEEF GB Scholarship Application Form' from the PEEF website or get it from the Directorate of Education, GB.

   Step 2: Fill the form manually and attach attested copies of documents.

   Step 3: Submit the completed form physically to the 'Directorate of Higher Education (Colleges), Gilgit-Baltistan, Skwar, Gilgit'.

   Note: Do NOT send forms directly to PEEF Lahore; they will be rejected.
