Eligibility Criteria

  Scholarship Status: Must NOT be availing any other scholarship (HEC, Provincial, or Foreign).

  Admission: Must be enrolled in a full-time program (Morning/Regular) in an HEC-approved public sector university located in the *applicant's home region* (for Masters/MS) or *anywhere in Pakistan* (for PhD).

  PhD Benefit: PhD students from these areas can study in ANY public university across Pakistan and get fee reimbursement.

  Masters/MS Benefit: Masters/MS students must study in a university located *within* their domicile region (e.g., a Baluchistan domicile student must study in a university in Baluchistan).

How to Apply – Step by Step

   Secure admission in a recognized public sector university.

   Register your profile on the PMFRS Portal (pmfrs.hec.gov.pk) 'New Registration' tab (when active).

   Enter your CNIC, Domicile District, and Academic details accurately.

   The university's Focal Person will verify your data against their enrollment records.

   Once verified ('Approved by University'), HEC processes the payment directly to the university.

   Note: If 'New Registration' is closed, contact your university's Financial Aid Office for the next validation cycle.
