About This Scholarship

The Punjab Workers Welfare Fund (PWWF) Talent Scholarship is a massive provincial initiative dedicated to the children of registered industrial workers in Punjab. This fully funded scheme covers all educational expenses—from school levels right up to PhD—including admission fees, tuition, transport, and hostel charges. It aims to uplift the working class by ensuring their children have barrier-free access to top-tier universities, medical colleges, and engineering universities across the province.

• 100% full tuition fee waiver for the complete duration of an approved Master's participating program
• Monthly living stipend tailored to the host country to cover accommodation, food, and daily expenses
• Return economy-class international airfare between your home country and the host university
• USD 600 travel allowance per trip disbursed directly to the scholar to assist with transit costs
• Basic medical and accident insurance coverage obtained through the host university for the duration of the degree

Eligibility Criteria

  Parent's Status: Father/Mother must be a registered 'Worker' in an Industrial Establishment in Punjab.

  Registration: Must be registered with EOBI or PESSI (Social Security).

  Service Period: Minimum 3 years of cumulative service (for education up to Inter) or varies by category.

  Admission: Student must be enrolled on **Merit** (Regular/Morning) in a HEC recognized Public or Private University/College.

  Previous Result: Student must have passed the previous degree/class without failing any subject.

  Establishment: The factory/company must contribute 5% to the Workers Welfare Fund (WWF) or 2% under the Companies Profit Act.

  Exclusion: Students admitted on 'Self-Finance', 'Development Support', or 'Overseas Quota' are ineligible.

How to Apply – Step by Step

   Step 1: Obtain the 'PWWF Scholarship Form' from your University's Financial Aid Office (or download from pwwf.punjab.gov.pk).

   Step 2: Fill the form and attach the 'Worker's Service Certificate' (signed by the Factory Manager).

   Step 3: Attach the EOBI/PESSI Card copy (Critical Document).

   Step 4: Get the form verified by the 'District Officer Labour' or 'Assistant Director Labour' of your district.

   Step 5: Submit the complete file back to your University's Financial Aid Office (University submits the claim to PWWF).
